Welcome to Gordon Advanced Motorists
Gordon Advanced Motorists (GAM) is an affiliate group of IAM RoadSmart (IAMRS formerly the Institute of Advanced Motorists).
Our aim is to improve road safety through improvement of driver and rider standards. We achieve this by preparing our Associate members to pass the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver and Rider assessment.

Advanced Driver and Rider
Course
We can prepare you with the IAMRS Advanced Driver/Rider course which leads to the advanced driving or riding test.
The cost of the course is £200*
for Drivers and £215*
for Riders. This includes literature, on-road driving and riding guidance, and preparation for the test.
* From 1 April 2025, these prices will increase to £204 and £219 respectively

Group Meetings
With effect from January 2020, we meet in the Small Hall of Inverurie Town Hall every two months on the last Tuesday of the month. Guest speakers are invited to come along and give a presentation. They are not always motoring themed topics but can be anyone or anything from the Aberdeen, Garioch and Marr area.
